Meredith has been asked to participate in the UpNorth Music project of North Country Public Radio, an affiliate of National Public Radio (NPR).  The project is supported by the New York State Music Fund, a grant program of the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.  Meredith will be recording some of her latest compositions to be used on air and for possible inclusion in a CD compilation which will be sold throughout New York State. North Country Public Radio is located at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y.

 

05/06/07                                 Meredith Luce & the Moose           

Meredith would like to welcome her band: Dave Gaudet (guitar and vocals) and Tim Watson (drums).  A huge fan of Dave's unique voice and infectious guitar riffs, Meredith invited Dave to play on her forthcoming album.  When Meredith was offered a show at Zaphod's in Ottawa, she asked Dave to accompany her.  At a rehearsal, Tim Watson stopped by and was invited to play on a few tunes at the show.  Two minutes before starting their set, the three came up with a name...  Meredith Luce & the Moose! 

    Brand-spankin'-new Album!

As there has been a delay in the release of Meredith's first full-length album, advance copies will be available at shows.  They will be home burned with home printed labels.  When the manufactured CDs are available, you may bring an advance copy disc to exchange for the real thing at a future show.

The CDs should be available by mid-July, and the CD release show is expected to take place in September.
